Medicare Advantage, also known as Medicare Part C, is an alternative way to receive your Original Medicare (Part A and Part B) benefits. Instead of receiving your benefits through Original Medicare, you enroll in a private health plan, such as a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) or a Preferred Provider Organization (PPO). These plans are offered by private insurance companies that contract with Medicare to provide your benefits.
Medicare Advantage plans typically include prescription drug coverage and may also cover additional benefits such as vision, hearing, dental, and wellness programs that Original Medicare doesn't cover. They do have a network of doctors and hospitals that you must use in non-emergency settings, and may have limits on out-of-network care.
It's important to note that if you enroll in a Medicare Advantage plan, you will still have to pay your Medicare Part B premium and you may have additional costs such as copayments or coinsurance.
We are authorized to offer Medicare Insurance plans from many well known, value added, and reputable carriers. We believe these companies offer great value and benefits for our clients in the Carolinas based on coverage, cost, and financial stability.
